Escapism is a 20-minute dance and physical theater solo performance (EN) about a young woman who wants to escape the busy city and goes on a travel alone. In this solo, inspired by personal travel experience, the character struggles with everyday urban reality and is confronted with choices, her own mental health, self-development and identity during her journey. Through an intimate setting combining text and movement, Amber invites the audience to become part of this journey. The goal is to further develop the solo performance to a 30-minute solo in 2024 and perform it at festivals.
